How much packing do you want your employees to do themselves?

The Commercial Move Project Manager is available to meet with our customers employees to teach them how to pack anything you want the employees to pack themselves. Some businesses prefer 21st Century Van Lines office movers to pack the entire business, thereby freeing up shier employees from this type of task. Other companies prefer to have their own employees pack only their own desks or work stations and still other businesses, have their employees do all the packing including packing their warehouses, libraries, file rooms, etc. If you decide to have your employees do the packing for some or all of your move, prior to the move, we can deliver the packing materials you'll require. INFORMATION NEEDED WHEN MOVING PIANOS
What information should I provide to you in order for you to give me a quote on moving my piano or organ?

We need to know if your piano is an Upright or Grand piano. An upright has two to four legs and is rectangular in shape. A grand will have three legs.

If it is a Grand, we will need to know its length. Grands can range from 5 to 10 feet in length. To measure, start from the front of the keyboard and go straight down the middle. Sometimes model numbers will help, this is usually listed inside the piano.

We will also need to know if it is a Player or Regular piano. The player capability will have the piano play itself. Player mechanisms can be on old fashioned roll type, cassette, or CD.

If it is an organ, we need to know if it has any external speakers or tone cabinets, and how many.

We need to know from what city and to what city are you moving. If you know the exact mileage it will be helpful.

We need to know if there are any stairs or elevators at either the pick-up or delivery locations. If there are stairs, how many steps at each? Please provide an exact count.
